One focused workflow

From spreadsheet to evidence in three steps.

Keep your existing tracking plan. Provetag turns it into a repeatable browser QA session—no new analytics platform to configure.

  1. 01

    Import the contract

Use a CSV exported from Sheets or Excel. Define the event, source, required parameters, measurement ID, and page condition.

  2. 02

    Run the journey

Start capture on the test tab, then browse the flow as a customer would. GA4 and dataLayer evidence stays in your session.

  3. 03

    Deliver the verdict

Review passed, failed, and not-observed rules. Export a standalone HTML report your client can open without Provetag.

A useful distinction

Missing is not the same as broken.

A failed rule means Provetag saw the event but found the wrong property or a missing parameter. Not observed means the event never appeared during this journey. Your report preserves that distinction, so the next fix is clear.

Passed
At least one captured event satisfies the complete rule.
Failed
The event was observed, but its implementation violates the contract.
Not observed
No matching evidence was captured in this QA session.

Client data stays in the browser.

Captured events are kept in Chrome session storage and disappear with the browser session. CSV plans are stored locally so you can resume your work.

Founding beta

Pay once. Use it on every client QA.

The beta is intentionally simple: the complete local extension, CSV plan validation, live inspection, JSON export, and client-ready HTML reports.

One-time · individual use

Public checkout opens after the final Chrome validation. There is nothing to buy yet.

Before you try it

Clear limits, no fine print.

Which implementations are supported?

The first release validates GA4 Measurement Protocol hits and window.dataLayer pushes in the top-level page.

Does it replace automated end-to-end testing?

No. It is a fast, local acceptance tool for consultants and small teams. Scheduled monitoring and CI are outside the beta.

Why a one-time price?

The beta has no server cost and no recurring service yet. A subscription would be hard to justify until monitoring or team workflows exist.

What happens when I change domains?

Chrome ends the temporary permission. Start capture again on the new domain; Provetag never keeps blanket access to your browsing.
